Reels for doctors: what to post without losing credibility

Short videos can build enormous trust for a medical practice, as long as they are accurate, warm and ethical.

Reels and Shorts are the fastest way for patients to get to know you. The goal is not to go viral. It is to be the doctor they feel comfortable calling.

Start with patient questions

The best topics come from questions you answer every day in your clinic: What happens during a root canal? Is laser hair removal safe? When should I see a cardiologist? Answer one question per reel.

Keep it short and clear

Aim for 20 to 45 seconds. Lead with the question, answer in plain language and end with a gentle invitation to consult. Add captions because most people watch without sound.

Show your clinic and your people

A walkthrough of your clinic, a short introduction to your team or a day-in-the-life clip humanises your practice and reduces first-visit anxiety.

Stay ethical

Avoid guarantees, miracle claims and patient content without written consent. Credibility is your most valuable asset. Protect it.
