How to ask patients for Google reviews the right way

A simple, ethical process for collecting more reviews from happy patients without being pushy.

Reviews help patients choose you and help Google rank you. Most happy patients are glad to leave one. They just need to be asked.

Ask at the right moment

Ask after a good consultation or treatment, when the experience is fresh. A short, warm request from the front desk works better than a long message.

Make it effortless

Share a direct review link or a QR code at the reception. Every extra step reduces the number of reviews you receive.

Never offer incentives or write fake reviews

Paying for reviews or writing them yourself breaks Google’s rules and can lead to removal or penalties. Genuine reviews are the only kind worth having.

Reply to every review

Thank patients for kind words. For criticism, reply calmly, avoid sharing any patient details and invite them to contact the clinic directly.
